[Feature Request] GPG Signing

Strangely, one of my favourite features about Fork on the Mac version is automatic signing using a specified GPG key. Having this feature on Windows would be fantastic.

EDIT 20/03/2020: I realise that if you remove the passphrase on your signing key and set up your git config correctly, git will sign it automatically, which is what I've been doing.

Yes, I believe that is the right application. However...

This might be a little hard to explain, but I am aware that you are bundling git with Fork (which makes sense). This version of git comes with git-bash, which in turn also comes with its own version of many unix packages ported to Windows, including GPG in the Fork/git/usr/bin folder. Is it possible to just use this version, seeing as it is already being included with the entire program? It found my keys just fine (as I guess there is a global setting somewhere).

On other client, user can configure custom gpg binpath when client don't detect it automatically. Usefull on corporate environment where user is not administror and can't install everything

AFAIK there're two folders could store PGP keys in Windows:

• ~/.gnupg for GnuPG bundled with Git for Windows.
• %APPDATA%\gnupg for Gpg4win and Kleopatra.

I believe it would be better default with ~/.gnupg.

Is there a way to trigger the popup from Fork then? I think Sourcetree does it correctly atm.

I'm using Kleopatra at present and modified my .gitconfig so kleopatra prompts me for a passphrase on commit. I'm staging and pushing with Fork but committing on the command line to pass -S. Native integration would be great to ease setting up verified commits on Github.

In case it'll help somebody, I'll leave my .gitconfig here; with these settings, my Fork signs and pops up a dialog to prompt me for my password when making a commit:

It would be fantastic if this was something that could be integrated, like it is on the macOS version of Fork
