Extremely high battery usage in the background #336

Hello,
Thank you for keeping the open source version of the app alive.
I have an issue with how this app is running in the background. It has occurred a couple times where my phone has drained to depletion due to this app high battery usage. I'm not sure what of this app is causing it, but according to my battery usage graphs, it's definitely coming from this app.
I've reinstalled the app before to see if it was some setting I touched that caused it, but that didn't fix it either...
