LcdMenu and ezButton

I'm using WokWi and testing the List sample code with a Arduino Mega and 4 x 20 LCD. Instead of using the serial commands I have placed the menu commands in a ezButton list. The code runs but the left and right arrows do not open the list and the enter command does not go into edit mode. Is here an issue using the ezButton library or am I missing something. Thx
