MetaEditor v0.9.0-beta.1 (Pre-release)

MetaEditor is a focused desktop application for editing audio metadata and embedded cover art across common music formats.

This first public beta introduces the core editing workflow with support for opening a track, updating tags, replacing artwork, and saving changes in place or as a copy.

Included in this beta:

• Tag editing for common fields (title, artist, album, album artist, track, year, genre, composer, comment, BPM, key)
• Embedded cover art add/replace support (JPEG/PNG)
• Drag-and-drop file loading
• Save and Save as Copy workflows
• Basic track details display (duration, bitrate, sample rate, channels, file size)

Supported formats:

• MP3
• FLAC
• M4A (AAC)
• WAV

Beta status

This is a pre-release build intended for early testing and feedback.
While core features are working, additional stress testing is still in progress.
