v2.40.0 - Manual Summary to Save Tokens

Save Money on Long Conversations 💰

New "Create Summary" button lets you manually compress conversations to save tokens.

How it Works

1. When a conversation gets long, click 📝 Create Summary in the ticket sidebar
2. Haiku AI (~$0.01-0.05) analyzes the conversation and extracts:
   • Key decisions made
   • Problems solved and their solutions
   • Important notes and warnings
   • Files modified
3. Future requests use the summary instead of full history
4. Significant token savings on future requests

When to Use

• After completing a major task
• When conversation exceeds 50+ messages
• Before starting a new phase of work
• When you want to "checkpoint" progress
