Welcome to the dreamcast-linux wiki!

Dreamcast Linux is a linux distribution for the Sega Dreamcast, in the spirit of the original LinuxDC project, but with modern toolchain, kernel and userland.

The userland is compiled using the T2 SDE package manager, the kernel is currently custom patched and separately compiled within the Docker based buildprocess of this project. The release is built using scripts/release.sh which collects the kernel, userland and packages the CDI and other released files.

There is an continuous effort to upstream all reasonable changes to the linux kernel mainline.
