I'm a geospatial data scientist and data engineer building production platforms and novel risk models. Mostly environmental work: wildfire, water, the way people move through landscapes. Current work lives in private client repos.

Resonance — Human mobility analytics platform I built and lead at Motivf, transforming hundreds of billions of raw GPS trajectory points into interactive map-based exploration tools. SPOT-AIS is built to study the spread of aquatic invasive species for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; there are others for federal and commercial clients.

Wildfire structural vulnerability research — Neighborhood-scale survivability modeling at WUUII. Combined NDVI-derived vegetation features with random forest classification to predict which structures and neighborhood configurations survive fires.
Before geospatial, nearly two decades of documentary filmmaking for clients including High Country News, The Long Now Foundation, and The Redford Center. The throughline is making complex work legible to people who need to act on it.
