I’m working on an extended version of the FUXA editor and would like to know whether the community would be interested in these improvements.
The current changes include:
A new ribbon with Home, Insert, View, and Object tabs
Contextual tools displayed automatically for the selected object
A layer panel inspired by professional graphics editors
Creating, deleting, renaming, hiding, locking, and nesting layers
Grouping elements and assigning colors to layers
Renaming individual objects
An extended Resources library supporting folders, images, SVG files, and fonts
Dragging resources directly onto the canvas
Saving selected groups as reusable templates
Choosing and remembering the default size of inserted icons
Custom resource folders and categories
A more consistent editor interface
Undo, Redo, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Actual Size, and Fit Canvas controls
I’m also working on an optional integration with PLUM ecoNEXT Gateway. It allows FUXA to browse, read, and write ecoMAX controller parameters through a local REST API.
The changes are still under development and testing. My goal is to maintain compatibility with the existing FUXA workflow and keep additional integrations optional.
Would you be interested in using a version of FUXA with these features? Which improvements would be most useful to you?
Feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated before these changes are prepared for an official review.
Best regards to the entire FUXA team,
