  • aptly->reprepro

    • Part of work towards Buster prod channel for Workstation repo
    • Unlike aptly, reprepro has out of the box support for multiple distributions + Valid-Until
    • We can also potentially store the entire metadata for the repo in LFS, making workflows less infra-dependent
    • Down the road, we may even be able to deprecate cron-apt
    • Proposal: Migrate apt-test.freedom.press to reprepro
  • RTD setup for Workstation

  • python concurrent.futures fun - actually nvm i will discuss in #securedrop

Yesterday:

  • friday tested/reviewed securedrop-export fix for #12, which I merged this morning
  • some smaller packaging stuff related to securedrop-log which is all good now

Today:

  • took a peek at the apparmor stuff, feel free to merge when ready (though we should add something at least to the PR description to handle the case where the dev makes a change and doesn't update the apparmor profiel)
  • will make changes to sd-log PR
  • spending the rest of the afternoon on securedrop-export #33

  • Investigating discrepancy with python concurrent.futures issue - at a loss as to why it is required on some Qubes machines and not on others
