• Goal is to get RC1 candidate / test plan up today
• We originally planned to only include new key in keyring for this release, but decided to defer that to 2.1.0 (draft PR here: https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/pull/5979)
• String change backport still pending, otherwise we're good on translations
• Kushal will be LM, John Deputy LM, for remainder of release

Disposable VM breakage / hotfix

• https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-workstation/pull/708 further improves Salt logic
• Allie will re-test with Conor's follow-up commit & test concurrency
• Aiming to release hotfix no later than tomorrow
