(Mickael) We'd like to better understand the timeframe of Qubes adoption (Trammell) Upstream on Xen, it will probably not be merged as a "SecureBoot feature" as SB guarantees may be bypassed depending on other Xen config. From their perspective, "Look, you can boot a unified image" is an easier merge for them. See https://github.com/osresearch/xen/commit/765f0feecc1e1ceed206ccd310941bef8eed822c If this hits the Xen mainline, it's possible for Qubes users to support SecureBoot on their platform.
