Sometimes you can change an entity name and this can cause the People area (and related functionality) to not work correctly. It would be good to proactively detect these so that you can fix the issue before it affects other automations and dashboards too long. Sometimes you will only notice this by actually going into the People area and hitting on the person, then scrolling down. They show as a missing entity.
I'm not sure if this would be best placed to be added in core HASS or in this integration, but will raise it here in any case.
