What response does yt2009 give to a request for a YouTube player from 2005-2015 (HTML/Flash). I need it for my PHP project.

as2 players (until late 2010) typically only called /get_video?video_id=[id] which returned the video file itself. that was enough to start playback.

as3 (late 2010 onwards) called /get_video_info if they didn't have all the data they needed within flashvars itself (which included everything like formats). yt2009 supports this endpoint so you can call /get_video_info?video_id=[id] on any instance and get a result like this

responses are url-encoded, so they are separated with & and the values (after the = sign for each param) need to be urldecoded. there are plenty of url decoders online, or you can call the decodeURIComponent JS function locally.

after that the player should show a list of qualities and start playing one by requesting its link
