Overlapping SVG shapes and reused symbols now retain their intended group opacity in native PNG previews read from a saved PDF. Previously the PDF was correct, but those previews could look too dark. Isolated groups are now composited before their opacity is applied; nested and member opacity remain distinct.

Install with python -m pip install fullbleed==2.5.29 or use fullbleed = "=2.5.29" in Cargo. The 15 Python platform wheels, source distribution and default-feature Rust crate have been downloaded and verified from their public registries. Runtime dependencies and authoring APIs are unchanged.

The final wheel passes all 659 Python tests; the native suite passes 1,384 tests and 11 doctests. The expanded SVG gate passes 810 checks across 54 inputs and direct, compiled, fixed-binding and reflow output. Windows, Linux and the public wheel produce the same 648 PDFs and 1,134 complete native preview images. Independent PDFium rendering passes the same paint expectations; its Linux output differs only in the small Standard 14 Helvetica reference labels. Those 972 label differences and the original strict-comparison failure are retained. Every pixel outside the labels matches. A public crates.io consumer repeats all 648 saved-PDF renders and matches the 972 finalized previews.

Against the previous public wheel, every PDF byte, layout preview and independent PDF raster is unchanged. Twenty-four saved-PDF previews correct visibly dark overlaps; another 24 change by one color level within the SVG shape. The old wheel fails 16 checks using the same expected colors and tolerances. Both failing and corrected output are retained below.

The static Bootstrap component alpha remains a separate opt-in Python release, with styled and unstyled HTML export. This patch is scoped to isolated groups emitted by Fullbleed; it does not establish general external-PDF, CSS or PDF standards conformance. The dedicated PDF/VT validator remains unconfigured. The 2.5.28 corpus results, including known failures, remain historical evidence; this patch makes no fresh full-corpus claim.
