I was just wondering this and had a look and it looks like they use open ai's whisper. I agree though, it would be sick if there was a fork of this available for Linux. If I had the skills, I'd try to do it. |

Actually, I did build something. I made it for myself, but since you want it, I'll clean it up a bit and put it into my repo.
I'll post here again when it's done.

So kudos to the devs for making such a awesome app. It's amazing that the speech-to-text can happen on low power/low resource devices.
I'm wondering if there is something similarly light weight and effective for my Linux PC?
