The following is now defined inside of the image,

export PYTHONPATH=/usr/local/lib/python3.12/site-packages/:/usr/local/lib64/python3.12/site-packages

such that

from importlib.util import find_spec
find_spec({in-image-module-name})

will find the in-image pip-installed module first. The user's home directory will still be searched for Python 3.12 modules as normal if any requested module is not available in-image.
