How can I get the sheety running? View Only / Requesting access

  • Do not Request edit permissions. Go to the top left corner and click: FileMake a Copy
  • You need to be using your Gmail account to see this option
  • After making a copy you will be able to start using it

Scripts return an error: Google hasn’t verified this app

  • Scripts are not dangerous. This pop-up exists because scripts will change how your sheet works. It's a default message for all scripts
    • Imagine you add a script that messes up your whole data because it wasn't verified. This doesn't happen in Sheety because scripts are made only for this tool
  • You must enable scripts to access the full features of Sheety
  • After the first time, you won't get any more warnings and can run scripts freely If this explanation wasn't enough, you can visit Google's Developers site for more information

Why is my damage not updating?

  • Damage is only calculated every time you use the 'Damage Calculations' script
  • It was designed this way to reduce their impact on the sheet's speed and performance
  • After you are done writing a rotation you can use this script and damage will update accordingly

Damage modifiers (Vulnerability, damage reductions)

  • All available damage modifiers can be found in your settings
  • Some modifiers like Vulnerability are enabled by default and at all times
  • To change boss-related damage reductions you can go to the Reference Editor tab and edit/create a reference
  • Sheety's damage comes from a pre-stored database and we assume some settings like perks, armour and weapons to consume less resources

For the full list of settings go to Ability Damage Maths.

My abilities aren't affecting calculations

  • Within your copy, go to the tab called Abilities and find the ability you want to use
  • It's possible that you are using the wrong ability name (i.e. natural instead of natty). Capitalisation does not matter
  • You may change the name of abilities in that same tab for your own convenience

Why are Ticks red

This happens when a tick is nulled. This means damage doesn't affect that tick

  • This can be achieved with the use of the Reference Editor and templates. Useful for damage reduction like Vorago's reflect mechanic
  • Within Sheety settings, look for Template and set it to Blank
