batch mode no longer crashes on a fresh install.verify-images.mjs imported the image-size npm package, but the Skills CLI copies files without running npm install — so the installed skill had no node_modules, and pixeltamer batch died at import with Cannot find module 'image-size' on every clean install. (generate / edit / compose were unaffected — they're stdlib/bash only.)
Changed
Dropped the image-size dependency; pixeltamer is now zero runtime dependencies. Replaced it with scripts/lib/image-dimensions.mjs, a ~70-line PNG/JPEG header reader (width/height live in the IHDR / SOF bytes). Same getDimensions seam, so the verifier and its tests are untouched. Every backend and helper now runs on stock bash / Python stdlib / Node — there is nothing left to npm install, which also means the "no node_modules after install" behavior of the Skills CLI stops mattering for us.
Added
8 tests for the dimension reader (PNG IHDR, JPEG SOF, restart-marker skip, non-image/empty/short buffers, a real example PNG, and a throwing reader → null). Suite is now 39 tests. Verified end-to-end: batch reads true dimensions off real PNGs and correctly fails a size mismatch.
