Release 1.6.0: Architecture Refactor, GTK3 Overhaul, & Dynamic Playback
It’s been a minute since the last release, but 1.6.0 is finally out in the wild. This one brings massive architectural refactoring, heavily optimizing the core media processing pipelines, and delivering a complete overhaul of the desktop user interface.
The client UI is entirely rebuilt utilizing GTK3, custom CSS stylesheets, and Glade interface definitions to modernize the workspace. Under the hood, the engine now leverages C11 atomic operations and OpenMP parallelization to accelerate real-time YUV video effect filters and memory copy operations, backed by newly vectorized SIMD routines.
