Feature: Offline Support / Mobile App

Hi, currently, NoteDiscovery works as a server-backed web application, and notes are stored on the server. When there is no network connectivity, notes are not reliably accessible or editable.

For example, if a user runs the server in a homelab without public internet access, notes cannot be accessed when outside the home network unless a VPN is used. In fully offline situations, the PWA does not function as an offline-first application.

Would it be possible to consider, developing a mobile app with local markdown storage and server sync?

Thanks for the kind words! Building a native mobile app with offline sync would be a major effort, sync/conflict resolution is quite complex (it's why Obsidian charges for Sync mostly). Plus not much of a mobile developer myself either (I have the app installed as PWA but it's just the website 😋).

For your homelab use case, I'd recommend something like Tailscale (free), it gives you secure access to your homelab from anywhere without opening ports. NoteDiscovery's PWA should work just fine over Tailscale on mobile.
