Markdown rendering/parsing bug?

Create a new note and paste this as markdown:

Because of the 1. the markdown/preview is malformed.

Expected:
Display as normal task and don't interpret the 1. as numbered list

Hi there, I just shipped a new bugfix for this, it should not try to apply format after tasks. Also I have removed the annoying bullet point from the beginning, take a look and let me know:

On the topic of lists, what's the feasibility of having lists recalibrate themselves when you drop a line? For instance, the way it works now if you delete #3 of a 5 count list, you wind up with:

1. One
2. Two
3. Four
4. Five

When you have really long lists that you edit often (like I do), I usually have to copy paste the list into an editor, Regex out the leading number/dot and then paste it in and convert to a list again.
