Reference images on retina macbook

Possible duplicate: #168

The reference images are created on a retina macbook and when the tests are run on a ubuntu machine, all the tests fail but work fine on a different macbook. I suspect it is due to this issue:
ariya/phantomjs#10964

Is anyone else facing this problem? am I missing something? Is there any workaround?

In the browser report you can see the mismatch percentage and the image diff. Please take a screenshot of the report and post here.

Anti-aliasing variance between different OSs are very very common.

One thing you could try (I have not tested it) -- on your test machine, make sure you have the latest version...

In your global install find this block:
https://github.com/garris/BackstopJS/blob/master/core/util/compare.js#L37-L40

and change that block to this...

    resemble(referencePath)
      .compareTo(testPath)
      .ignoreAntialiasing()
      .onComplete(function (data) {
        resolve(data);
      });

This may reduce the antialiasing noise picked up by resemble.js.

Please let me know if it works for you! And please send another screenshot if possible -- I have been curious about this config option.

So, another user recently mentioned they were able to get around some cross platform rendering issues by using slimer instead of phantom. Have you tried that?
