Reduce the size of the screen capture

Hi all,
Currently we use chrome as engine in our backstopJS . We have some limitation on the size of images. In our environment we can only have images which is lesser than 1MB. (basline)
According to chromy documentation [1] they have option to reduce the quality of the image.
So my question is do we have any config or anything that we can reduce the quality that we capturing image.
