Adoption Levels

The Light Calendar can be used in three independent stages.

Level 1 — Only use Light seasons

Keep the Gregorian Calendar and add:

• the Light Seasons
• optional Moon Counter

Purpose: Get natural annual orientation without changing dates.

Level 2 — Light Months

Keep Gregorian year start (Jan 1), but replace months with:

• New February, New March, ..., New January
• New month lengths
• Moon Counter included

Purpose: A clearer, balanced month and year structure with minimal disruption.

Level 3 — Full Light Calendar

Adopt:

• new month system
• Light Seasons
• Moon Counter
• year begins at 1. New February

Purpose: A fully astronomical civil calendar with coherent yearly symmetry.
