route_quad connections info

Hello everyone,
I want to ask for your help with an issue I’ve run into.
I have some PCells with electrical ports, and I’m building a route using route_quad. Now, I want to retrieve information about the route or the ports that were connected.
I’m trying to use get_netlist(), and it works well for optical and electrical connections with other rote types, but route_quad don’t appear to be connected.
Also i need to extract all information about shapes and routes from a file imported using import_gds().

Please let me know if there's a way to resolve this issue. Thank you!

I think the route quad is on the WG layer and not on the metal layer. You probably need to give it a layer or crosssection

Thanks for an advice. As I can see on route_quad() I can specify layer, not cross_section, I'am trying to put the rpute on metal layer (49,0), but still no info for connections.
Is there a way to get some data about routes, placed on canva? Other than get_netlist()
I can see this polygon geometry by component.get_polygons_points(), but it’s still unclear which polygon corresponds to which element of component.

As this router returns None, no there isn't unless you would specifically go for extracting the polygons, but as you said there is no indication what belongs to what. That is simply something you have to trust the router to properly do. Otherwise, use something like klayout netlist tracers. There are some new features for this coming, but it's not production ready, really.
