Hi @jmachuca77 and @codegistics (I just added both of you as 'collaborators' on this project. You can remove yourself if it ever becomes boring or you get different interests - no worries!

Thank you for being early brave testers/developers ;-). Just an update (I'll try to avoid spamming too often). Based on looking at your reports here's the approximate feature list I'm planning on the first 'publicish' alpha. I'll be releasing that in about two weeks I think. In the meantime I'll be doing occasional new builds of the python binary.

• first public alpha (reddit) at approximately this point
• fix dwarf3 (bug Work needed to support Dwarf3 #1) investigation by @codegistics
• osx path finding fixes by @jmachuca77 (bug tool.py: Fix discovery of Siril and Graxpert on OSX #2)
• always regen masters after adding a repo
• don't warn for "[tool-warnings] Reading sequence failed, file cannot be opened: *.seq. Reading sequence failed, file cannot be opened: *.seq." because harmless
• add support for http URLs also. use https://pypi.org/project/requests-cache/ and session = CachedSession(stale_if_error=True)
• move the recipe repos to their own github - stop pulling them as python resources
• add dwarf3 files to integration tests - fix ghcr.io stuff
• explain about PATH Tell users how to add to PATH (if necessary) #5
• allow toml target files to be customized
• store flats in directory names based on INSTRUMENT not camera
• do background_removal() as a separate stage via graxpert
• ask friends to send me the result of session list (with extra diagnostics turned on)
• generate an auto-stretched output as fits and jpg.
• make OSC options user customizable per target
• do auto star removal as a separate stage
• make default recipes work with dark frames - not just bias frames
• make graxpert network check faster & expose an API
