PDF Lazy Loader 1.3.1

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 07 Oct 21:38
  • Turnstile widget is removed via turnstile.remove() after success (fixes console warning "Cannot find Widget …, consider using turnstile.remove()")
  • Minimum spinner time counts from the moment the spinner appeared, so server verification time is no longer added on top of it
  • Server-Timing: new wp_boot metric (WordPress bootstrap before the handler)

PDF Lazy Loader 1.3.0

  • Server-side Turnstile verification (optional, Settings → Cloudflare Turnstile → Server-side verification): REST endpoint POST /wp-json/pdf-lazy-loader/v1/verify validates the token with Cloudflare siteverify (single-use, action pdf_view, hostname check) and only then returns the PDF URLs
  • In server mode the HTML contains an AES-256-GCM sealed reference (data-pll-ref) instead of the XOR-obfuscated URL; download URL is released the same way; REST wp/v2 output is sealed too
  • Stateless: no DB writes, full-page cache compatible; forged refs rejected before any outbound call; one token unlocks all PDFs on the page; optional rate limit with persistent object cache
  • Server-Timing header on the endpoint for latency diagnostics
  • Viewer assets download in parallel with the Turnstile challenge
  • Secret Key is no longer printed back into the settings form (empty field keeps the stored key)

PDF Lazy Loader 1.2.1

Fixes for Google PageSpeed / Lighthouse findings:

  • Accessibility — color contrast: button and PDF icon colors are darkened (hue preserved) until white text reaches WCAG AA 4.5:1 (default #FF6B6B → #C25151, hover #E63946 → #A54545); subtitle / info / loading / Turnstile texts darkened to ≥ 4.5:1 on the facade background. Admin preview shows the effective colors
  • Accessibility — heading order: facade title is not a heading (<h3> removed in 1.2.0, admin preview aligned)
  • Performance — render-blocking request: pdf-lazy-loader.css is inlined (minified) instead of a separate <link>
  • Performance — network dependency tree: minified pdf-lazy-loader.min.js (24 KB → 13 KB, ~4 KB gzip), still defer in footer
  • Performance — LCP render delay: facade is server-rendered (since 1.2.0), so the LCP text is painted with the first frame
  • New filters: pdf_lazy_loader_enforce_contrast, pdf_lazy_loader_inline_css
