I take unclear, important work from the first useful version to something people can rely on. My background runs from commercial uncrewed vessels and regional remote operations to private AI memory, safe agent access and tools that control real machines.

The pattern is consistent. I find what is failing and build a working version. Then I test it with the people who depend on it until it holds up in daily use.

With the team, I took a commercial uncrewed survey vessel through build, testing, marketing, sale and client work. I then used that learning to build a regional remote-operations capability. The same discipline shapes the software below.

Keeps the plan a coding agent follows tied to the code that exists. Cairn records the intended architecture, spots drift and can block a conflicting change.

Gives several AI tools one private, local-first record of decisions, fixes and handoffs. It stores exact text, meaning and relationships in one portable SQLite file.

Puts a policy-controlled runtime between an assistant and real accounts. The runtime decides what the agent may access and change, rather than trusting the model with a master key.

My current work is converging on one problem. Agents need to remember past work, understand the system, receive limited authority and act through a safe path.
