Highlights

• Right-click translation: a single Translate selected text action in editors, reading views and PDF selections. The source popup appears immediately; automatic selection dwell keeps its own delay.
• Popup typography: independent source and translation/dictionary font sizes (10–40 px), optional text scaling during manual window resizing, and remembered text scale when popup-size memory is enabled. Compact native numeric controls support both English and Chinese.
• Double-click selection fix: selecting a word no longer cancels its pending or in-flight translation. Thanks to @Lozical for PR #1.

Security and compatibility

• Removed evaluated loaders and generated JavaScript functions from the embedded PDF.js main and Worker builds. Existing glyph and PostScript interpreters remain available.
• Backported numeric FontMatrix validation and retained the statically bundled Worker fallback. Original vendor inputs, copyrights and license notices remain unchanged.
• Replaced sidebar spacing with equivalent gap declarations to resolve the remaining multicolumn CSS warning without changing the layout.
• Normalized build input line endings so local Windows builds and clean checkouts of this tag produce identical release assets.

This is targeted hardening of the pinned PDF.js runtime, not a wholesale PDF.js upgrade or a guarantee that arbitrary PDFs are safe. Obsidian's native PDF viewer is managed by Obsidian.

Validation

• Complete offline release checks and regression suites passed.
• 9 PDF hardening tests, including inert injection-style glyph data and malformed font matrices.
• 4 genuine Chromium PDF render cases covering Blob Workers and deliberately blocked-Worker fallback.
• 13 genuine Chromium typography/control cases.
• Clean committed-source rebuild matched all three uploaded assets byte for byte.

• Replaced PDF.js dynamic fake-worker script loading with a statically bundled fallback.
• Disabled unused Node.js filesystem branches in the release build.
• Resolved CSS compatibility warnings involving text-indent, clip-path, !important, and MathJax selectors.
• Preserved PDF full-text translation, formula rendering, floating-orb skins, progress feedback, and reduced-motion behavior.

⚠️ Notes

Full-PDF translation requires a configured LLM endpoint and text-based PDFs. Scanned PDFs require OCR beforehand.
