This release focuses on tightening the published package contents and aligning build/test configuration.

Packaging and Distribution

  • Overhauled .npmignore to exclude source, tests, examples, docs, IDE/VCS/config files, and scripts from the published package; keep LICENSE.md while ignoring other *.md files (commit: "Tighten published package contents and align build/test configuration").
  • Deleted PERFORMANCE_IMPROVEMENTS.md from the repo (same commit).

Build and TypeScript

  • Switched TypeScript moduleResolution from "node" to "bundler" in tsconfig.json; updated excludes to "tests" and "dist" (same commit).

Testing

  • Simplified vitest.config.ts:
    • Consolidated test include pattern to tests/**/*.{test,spec}.ts.
    • Kept environment=node and testTimeout=30000.
    • Removed coverage reporter and reportsDirectory settings while retaining coverage include/exclude/thresholds (same commit).

Tooling

  • Removed resolution-mode=highest from .npmrc, retaining provenance=true (same commit).

Version

  • Bumped package version to 4.4.50 in package.json.
