Is the 2-year timer for the entire codebase or for individual files?

When 2 years pass from the initial release of the software, does your entire codebase (including subsequent releases) become OSS, or does that only apply to versions which were made 2 years ago and not anything after that?

Never mind, I just saw that the definition of "software" in the license refers to a specific version
