Summary

  • A memory safe implementation of sudo and su written in Rust
  • Resolves: sudo-rs #7818

Test Plan

Tested on Budgie and KDE for over a week and sudo-rs and su-rs work without issue. Able to run sudo-rs eopkg up.

Checklist

  • Package was built and tested against unstable
  • This change could gainfully be listed in the weekly sync notes once merged

v0.2.12 came out.
