Feature Request: "Think" toggle in Svelte WebUI

Howdy,

I vibe coded a "think" toggle button in Svelte UI to control thinking in my local gemma4 / qwen3.6 instances. Works like a charm for me, especially with default "off".

I would like to see this feature being added officially, but I assume right now it is merely a customization which might not generalize well.
What would be your ideas and wishes on how to get this into main, and implement this well for the multitude of supported models in llamacpp?

Screenshot of how it looks like attached. I would add a patch, but it is probably more hassle to apply it to your build cleanly than to just vibe-code it on your own.

I figured that in the mean time a lot of updates have been released regarding resoning behavior. What is the consensus on that?
Is reasoning supposed to be handled "automagically" by the model, or is still demand on enforcing/disabling reasoning?

From user perspective there is demand. Sometimes you want quick answers, sometimes you want more quality and are willing to wait longer.
