macOS: mouse down events broken in CommandPalette

Issue Description

When you try to select a command in CommandPalette using mouse, it won't work as expected. Possible regression after c3febab.

CommandPalette dismissed silently

Funny enough, this appears to be the reproduce steps for fixes in #11276 as well.

1. Open Ghostty
2. Open Command Palette
3. Switch to another app
4. Select any command using the mouse
5. Left-click anywhere
6. Move the mouse to observe "magic" happening
