I would like to fix a Quick Terminal resize bug that is slowly devouring my sanity

What do you want to change?

There's a resize bug that's a relatively quick PR that I want to submit, because it is slowly driving me mad when I dock my Macbook Pro to my larger, more obnoxious screens.

Why do you want to make this change?

I would like to fix the behavior via a minimal targeted PR, because code is far cheaper than therapy—which is where this is gonna end up if I don't get some relief soon. The alternative is that I whine like a schoolchild on Twitter and Discord and frankly? I do that enough already.
