I've never compiled Ghostty from source, if i have some more time i will try to figure it out. regarding to what the comment says about partial upgrades, i don't think that is the issue here as CachyOS uses arch-update to run various updates/scripts, very likely not doing partials |

Since I use Ghostty both on my PC and Laptop on CachyOS KDE, I noticed that after a reboot, Ghostty works most of the time, only sometimes producing the GUI error: I'm not able to reproduce the random times that it doesn't work when starting from the Konsole app, therefor given that it only appears very randomly now, I think my problem is fixed :) |
