Description:
It would be great to have an option in Ghostty to hide the Dock icon and instead show a status item (icon) in the macOS menu bar. This would reduce Dock clutter and provide quicker access to Ghostty functionality via the menu bar, aligning with how other utility apps behave.
Use Case:
For users who keep Ghostty running in the background or auto-start it on login, having it as a menu bar app allows for a more minimal and focused workspace. It would also be useful for quickly opening new windows or accessing settings from the menu bar without switching away from the current app.
