@00-kat quick question, what does reloading configuration do in this context?

It reads the configuration file, e.g. ~/.config/ghostty/config, and changes the current configuration to what is present in that file at the time the button was pressed.
I.e., say you have something like
theme = ayuand you change your file to
theme = ChalkboardGhostty would still use the Ayu theme, until you hit reload configuration, at which point it would switch to the Chalkboard theme.

think this is sufficient for now, individual strings can be improved later if necessary
