This is obviously a bit annoying to have to manually focus it, but I've also on a number of occasions accidentally typed my password into powershell (that still has focus) and have had to remove it from my command history file.

Also, confusingly, even though it doesn't have keyboard focus, the blinking | cursor still appears in the Passphrase field.
