Version 2.0.0 implements ts-FSRS scheduling algorithm finally replacing the previous temporary SM-2 scheduling system.

If you have used earlier versions of this plugin or are planning to transition from another plugin: This version defines a backwards-incompatible inline html-comment scheduling structure. Use the dedicated "Convert legacy cards to FSRS" option under the settings menu "Migrate Flashcards" to transliterate your existing flashcard scheduling information into the from now on permanent format. If you don't do this, reviewing cards will irreversibly overwrite your legacy scheduling information, erasing all scheduling data.

Additions

  • FSRS replaces SM-2: Cards are now scheduled by FSRS instead of the old SM-2 algorithm
    • Updated scheduling settings section
  • A new FSRS-capable backwards incompatible html-comment scheduling syntax
    • One-time scheduling syntax converter for SM-2 cards to the new FSRS-centered format
    • Legacy card warnings: Opening Review once per Obsidian session warns when legacy cards are detected within the registered root decks

Changes

  • Lapse severity decreased: Instead of resetting the scheduling progress from a card marked as "Again", lapsing is now handled by FSRS
  • Learn mode now measures card maturity for its group picks by FSRS stability
  • Show interval on buttons is now toggled off by default
  • Minor settings layout and label corrections

Fixes

  • Failed writes now throw and hand you the card back instead of freezing it
  • Daylight-saving day boundary fix. Yesterday's due cards no longer vanish on the spring-forward morning
  • Reduced motion and turning animations off is now respected plugin-wide across all animated components
  • Unloading during startup can no longer overwrite your saved settings.

Code correction will continue from now on
