Thanks so much for sharing - I'm sorry for the hassle! This is not new as a problem class on Windows, but it wasn't heard of in a while. What's also new is that it leaves files deleted. Maybe we can find out where that happens by taking a look at the https://docs.gitbutler.com/development/debugging#logs? Thanks again. |

Trying to give gitbutler a go, but it is really not making it easy for me... I would put it as a ticket, but I am not sure how to reproduce it yet.
I am on Windows11, using the latest butler 0.21.0
but setupproduces an error :And it is not just the error. My dot files, like
.gitignoreand.editorconfigget deleted in the process. Luckily, the butler only deletes them in the working dir, so it is easy to restore them.In GUI, the project appeared somehow, but trying to change the target branch gives the same error.
