Issues about "Publish to Github" button/function

What happened

Three issues:

1. In TE > Repo settings > Remote part, if manual add a github remote repo:
   
   This thing still exists, even restart VS/PC, it never gone:
   
2. Use "Publish to Github", when finish, you can't see something add in Remote part
3. Use "Publish to Github", the remote repo's name auto to "origin", if i hate this name, how do? why can't let user set name?

and if i use "Publish to Github" to created a remote repo, how delete it? it not exists in Remote part.
In a word, this is a uncontrollable thing, i hate it.

When Git clones a repository, it automatically creates a remote called origin. GitHub for Visual Studio uses this special name to discover the "home" location of the repository. It needs a way to find the pull requests and issues associated with the repository.

I'm interested what you prefer to name your remotes?

I use provider's name, like github, coding.net, gitee etc.

Thanks, it's always interesting to learn how different people use Git.

I had a go at fixing this a while back, but getting it right turned out to be difficult (see #2411). We were using origin as a special name in too many places.

I'll keep your request in mind and see if we can avoid special casing origin in a future version. One possibility would be finding the home repository using the current branch. The problem would be when the current branch didn't have a remote tracking branch. What would we use as the home repository in that case?

I hope after use "Publish to GitHub", in repo settings > remote part can see it. and make it more controllable by UI, please.
basically, I use git provider as a backup service, only push, no pull.
