ERROR message pop up #2629

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
In this program I want the user to have to click on the ranges button first. As of now when you click on the programs button before working with the ranges it will have an error pop up telling you you have to work with the ranges. I want the same thing to happen when you click the targets button. I want it to give you that error too. I can figure out how to do it.

I want the targets button to show an error if you haven't worked with the ranges yet.

I have tried working with the ranges button that gives you the error but couldn't get it to work with the target.
