What to do with the gh-cache?

I see a message "gh-cache had recent pushes 48 minutes ago" in https://github.com/mgifford/whisper-slides

I assume that this is the static file I was told to make reference to.

I'm just not sure what I should do with this. Am I supposed to merge it into main? I assume so, but am not clear.

Nope, you can safely ignore! It's a bit of strange side effect of using a branch for persistent caching, which is there to avoid duplicating issues. The original way of deploying to GitHub Pages had the same thing, an orphaned branch that you couldn't actually open a PR from, yet we showed you that banner anyway. If you have any thoughts on how you as a user would want to see this in the broader GH context, let me know about that as well, but otherwise I'll take the action item as a documentation thing.
