Latest (March) VSCode crashes with shipped copilot cli

Describe the bug

With the latest March VSCode update I observed that running copilot cli from embedded terminal causing VSCode to crash sometimes after a few minutes of running the agents, sometimes within an hour or two.

On standalone copilot cli (1.0.3 as well) running from external terminal (I.e.iTerm2) for many days in a row I didn't have any crashes.

Affected version

copilot: 1.0.3
VSCode: 1.110.0

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Start copilot cli
2. Run agents over a long tasks/Todo
3. Observe random VSCode crash

Expected behavior

No response
