Creating an agent hangs forever - no output

Describe the bug

Today I tried this

https://docs.github.com/en/copilot/how-tos/copilot-cli/customize-copilot/create-custom-agents-for-cli

and used /agent then choose to create a new agent entered a description and now I see

Create New Agent

 ● Generating agent with Copilot...

 Esc to cancel

It seem to hang, no other output ... maybe it needs some more input who knows?
