Resume after /new shows previous session as in-use

Describe the bug

Sometimes after doing a /new to start a new session, the previous session from that same instance will show as in-use if I try to /resume it from another CLI instance.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

/new (in one instance)

/resume (in a different instance)
See the original session from the first instance showing as In Use rather than Idle

If you still choose it, you get the warning that it's in-use

Expected behavior

/new abandons the original session so it can be /resumed in another or the same instance in the future.

/new keeps both sessions running in the CLI instance. You can switch between them with /session If you want to make a new session and abandon the current one use /clear

That should be made clearer in the documentation. It should also clarify whether a session is still /resume-able after being "abandon"ed
