Why it's a good fit: > baa is a terminal-based update manager written in Go. It uses a very modular "provider" system, making it extremely easy for beginners to contribute.

New contributors can add support for new package managers (like yay or dnf) just by implementing a simple Go interface. The code is clean, small, and we have labeled several "Good First Issues" (like adding CLI flags or new providers) to help people get started.

The project just underwent a rebranding to baa to avoid naming conflicts. We are very active and happy to mentor new contributors. We already have 3 labeled Good First Issues waiting to be picked up! 🐑
