pre_activation jobs were failing with ERR_API: Failed to fetch check runs for ref "main": route.endpoint is not a function because the rate-limit-aware github proxy was stripping Octokit's .endpoint decorator from wrapped REST methods.

Root cause

wrapNamespace() in github_rate_limit_logger.cjs replaces each Octokit REST method with a plain async wrapper for rate-limit logging. Octokit's paginate() internally calls route.endpoint.merge(parameters) when route is a function — but the wrapper had no .endpoint, causing the error.

Changes

  • github_rate_limit_logger.cjs — wrap the rate-limit wrapper in a Proxy that forwards unknown property accesses (.endpoint, etc.) to the original Octokit method, making it transparent to github.paginate().
  • github_rate_limit_logger.test.cjs — add tests asserting .endpoint is preserved and that endpoint.merge() is callable on the wrapped method.
  • setup.sh — add github_rate_limit_logger.cjs to MCP_SCRIPTS_FILES and SAFE_OUTPUTS_FILES arrays; it was already a transitive dependency via setup_globals.cjs but was missing from the lists, causing pre-existing test failures.
