Codex Extension in Cursor

I am using Spec Kit in Cursor. Using the cursor agent the spec kit command show as expected but if I use the Codex extension (paid account) the commands do not show.

Any ideas how to use Spec Kit with this extension in Cursor?

@gferguson1815 did you bootstrap the project for Codex or Cursor?

I set up Spec Kit to use Cursor which I thought was correct as it is the editor I am using

It looks like your project was bootstrapped for Cursor, but since you’re using the Codex extension, you’ll need to bootstrap it for Codex instead. The Spec Kit commands only show up in the environment it’s configured for.

Try running the spec init (or your equivalent bootstrap command) again and select Codex as the agent. That should make the Spec Kit commands appear properly when using the Codex extension.
